Key Responsibilities

• Lead the medicinal chemistry activities of one or more small-molecule drug discovery projects at target validation, hit to lead or lead optimization stages
• Work together with core team members across multiple disciplines to design and implement project strategies for the advancement of projects leading to the identification of high-quality preclinical candidates

• Solid track record of individual and team-level contributions to the discovery and pre-clinical development of small molecule clinical candidates supported with high impact publications, oral presentations and patent applications

• Work with CROs to design, analyze, report pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics data to support drug discovery programs
• Responsible for assessing ADME and physicochemical properties of NCEs, plasma protein binding, permeability, solubility, stability, aggregation, from early leads, pre-clinic candidate to clinic drug candidate, at all stages of drug discovery process.

Job Description

• Responsible for planning and coordinating with third-parties the design and construction work of the GHDDI office building and the laboratories, and supervising the implementation of relevant construction projects.
• Establish a management system of the GHDDI office and lab areas, strictly in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations in construction safety, occupational health and environmental protection.
• Conduct routine management and security check of the GHDDI office and lab areas, including maintenance of water, electricity, gas, fire control and other onsite facilities.
• Supervise and inspect the implementation of security, health and environment related regulations in the GHDDI office and lab areas, and organize daily, monthly or other ad hoc onsite examinations.
• Responsible for special equipment management, waste management and waste disposal.
• Design and deliver safety training programs for GHDDI employees, organize safety examinations and maintain individual safety records for all employees.
• Assist in the annual identification, evaluation and control of onsite hazardous sources.
• Investigate and analyze safety accidents, and complete an investigation report. Prepare contingency plans and organize regular onsite drills. Inspect emergency equipment on a regular basis, including fire-fighting equipment, first-aid kit etc.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in safety management, safety engineering, environmental protection, occupational health, occupational medicine or in other related disciplines.

• Proficient user in MS Office and other work-related software; excellent English reading and writing capabilities.
• A strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality, self-discipline, team spirit and code of ethics; excellent communication and execution skills, and good learning ability.

Major Responsibilities (Includes but not restricted to)

• Build, implement and supervise a solid, new HR management system
• Stay up to date on the latest labor laws, policies and regulations and adjust accordingly
• Assist the leadership team in HR resources across structure, development programs, personnel allocation, using the institute’s development strategy as a backbone
• React accordingly to the institution’s situation in terms of personnel expansion, performance assessment, compensation management, training programs and policy implementation.
• Assist the business department in identifying and selecting senior personnel, timely and accurately process HR management problems, guide the staffs’ career development plan, and develop personnel reserves and ranking guidelines;
• Connect with external HR service agencies and establish collaborative relations
• Train and lead the institute’s HR team

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Chinese, human resources, administration, business administration, economics, law, etc.;
• At least 5 years working experience in HR. Preference to candidates with more than 2 years of in a HR supervisor/management position, experience leading a HR team, managing many HR functions at once and familiarity in research, pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry
• Experience in working with headhunting companies is a plus;
• Familiarity with recruitment, compensation, performance assessments, and have practical experience with labor laws and regulations;
• Skilled use in office software, concise writing,
• Candidate should be efficient, pragmatic, low-key, highly driven, good at communicating, willing to lead a team to develop strategic support, manage through adversity; enjoy learning, keep a low-stress environment, and have a willingness to explore
• A high degree of sensitivity changes in HR
• English level six or above, or English at a communicational level is preferred;
• Values public welfare and health
