- Assistant to CSO

Job Description
- Support CSO and the whole R&D team to deal with the routine documentation work and administrative work efficiently, including schedule meeting, record meeting minutes, arrange travels, maintain files and record, prepare presentation materials etc.
- Track and review the expenses report for the department.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external third parties basing the work needs.
- Coordinate and collect scientific information to assist in writing regular or ad hoc progress reports to GHDDI partners and key stakeholders.
- Participate or lead special or ad hoc projects being assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- At least Bachelor degree in Secretary, Administration or other equivalent education.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

Job Description
- Perform protein expression, purification and characterization.
- Responsible for assay development, trouble-shooting and optimization.
- Provide high quality protein products and optimize biochemical reactions for internal/external collaboration.
- High-throughput screening (HTS), validation and data analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- PhD degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, protein engineering or the related biological sciences with 0-6 year postdoctoral experience.
- Expertise in protein purification and/or biochemical and biophysical characterization of metabolic enzymes is highly appreciated. Hands-on experience in HTS would be a plus.

- Investigator (program leader level), Medicinal Chemistry

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the medicinal chemistry activities of one or more small-molecule drug discovery projects at target validation, hit to lead or lead optimization stages
- Work together with core team members across multiple disciplines to design and implement project strategies for the advancement of projects leading to the identification of high-quality preclinical candidates
- Independently design biologically active molecules and conduct SAR studies to meet the project goals; design synthetic routes and lead the internal or external chemistry team in the synthesis and characterization of drug candidates for the projects.
- Work with computational chemistry group to develop structure-based target molecules for projects
- Proactively communicate project strategy, critical issues and recommendations to enable appropriate resource decisions
- Provide supervision, scientific mentorship and technical training of the team members
- Maintain excellent communication across internal and external team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in chemistry or related discipline
- A minimum of five years of experience in medicinal chemistry required; candidates with demonstrable hands-on small molecule drug discovery and pre-clinical development experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry highly desired.
- Solid track record of individual and team-level contributions to the discovery and pre-clinical development of small molecule clinical candidates supported with high impact publications, oral presentations and patent applications
- Excellent background and expertise in organic chemistry with a high level of synthetic skill including novel route design is essential
- Demonstrated project leadership experience in leading different stages of small molecule drug discovery with the ability to define strategy and critical decision making
- Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members of the research and management teams in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment
- Experience in leading and collaborating with chemistry teams from CROs is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a leader in the laboratory, executing on program and chemistry strategy
- Independently design and carry out efficient synthesis, purification and characterization of drug candidates for target validation, hit-to-lead and lead optimization projects
- Develop and apply innovative synthetic and medicinal chemistry problem solving skills to build structure-activity relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating targeted mutants of Mycobacterium, carrying out genetic manipulation for assay development and HTS, measuring MIC of anti-mycobacterial compounds, and bacterial strain typing.

- Scientist/Investigator, Assay Development

Key Responsibilities
- Develop biochemical, biophysical and cellular assays.
- Biochemical assays include ELISA, alpha assay, TR-FRET, all sorts of functional readout of enzymatic activity and any innovative assay formats.
- Enable technologies for protein and small compounds biophysical binding evaluation. Technologies include but not limited to ITC, SPR, TSA, NMR etc.
- Establish cellular assays to evaluate the biological function of pathogens in infectious disease and to monitor the pathogen-host cell interaction in an environment most recapitulating the actual pathological condition.
- Develop high content imagine based phenotypical screening.
- Adapt various assays to automated lab equipment for high throughput screening.
- Validate the established assays to ensure characterization and identification of small compounds.
- Data analysis and management using standard software as well as customized sophisticated software.
- Follow up and evaluate new technologies and methods developed in both academic labs and industry.
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in biology or related field, a few years working experience in assay development, preferentially in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with scientists to establish scientific IT infrastructure for research needs
- Be responsible for scientific software rollout, training, customization, applications and trouble shooting
- Assess application solutions for laboratory informatics related needs
- Provide user interface support, operation and maintenance of laboratory devices and informatics
- Facilitate research by including more informatics ideas from a perspective of scientific IT

Job Description
- Work with CROs to design, analyze, report pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics data to support drug discovery programs
- Responsible for assessing ADME and physicochemical properties of NCEs, plasma protein binding, permeability, solubility, stability, aggregation, from early leads, pre-clinic candidate to clinic drug candidate, at all stages of drug discovery process.
- Join project teams at the early stage to ensure effective integration of pharmacokinetics, accelerate the progress and facilitate the translational efforts at the later stage. Make dose assessments in animal models and humans.
- Should be familiar with and make suggestions towards formulation methods.
- Support internal projects and external collaborations in developing project.
Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field with a specific focus on pharmacokinetics
- 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in the conduct of pharmacokinetic and/or pharmacodynamics support
