Qinxian Jin (Chairman)

Dr. Qinxian JIN, Dean of the Office of Technology Transfer and Deputy SecretaryGeneral of Tsinghua University, leads the University's effort in connecting the research-driven academia with market-driven industry to create technology innovations. Under his leadership, the Office of Technology Transfer works on establishing an effective technology transfer system with multiple service modules to promote collaborations between Tsinghua's departments/schools and various industry sectors. The Office also manages the University's strategic investment platforms and international collaborative projects in technology transfer as well as several industrial research institutes that receive funding and support from the local governments and industries.

Dr. Jin has held multiple positions regarding technology transfer and industrial relations at the University. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Beijing Tsinghua Industrial  Research and Development Institute, Director of R&D Management Department of Tsinghua University, Director of International Technology Transfer Center of Tsinghua University, and Assistant to President of Tsinghua Holdings Co. Ltd. He also possesses rich academic experience, serving as Associate Professor at Department of Environmental Engineering of Tsinghua University for several years.

Dr. Jin obtained his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree from the Department of Environmental Engineering at Tsinghua University.
