Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation visits Beijing to promote Global Health Drug Discovery Institute

March 24th, 2016: After Tsinghua University had signed a MOU in common consent with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to establish the Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDDI) in Davos, Switzerland in January, representatives from the Gates Foundation visited Beijing on 24thMarch 2016 to further promote the development of GHDDI. Mr. SUI Zhenjiang, the Deputy Mayor of Beijing Municipal Government received Dr. Trevor Mundel, the President of Global Health Division at the Gates Foundation. Mr. ZHENG Huanming, the Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, and Mr. JIN Qinxian, the Director of the Office of Technology Transfer, Tsinghua University, Office of Technology Transfer, also attended the meeting.
